well, the way i see it is that writers wouldn’t put their work (and a bit of their soul) out there just to fall on ‘deaf ears’… it’s always nice to get feedback – to read why someone felt moved, or even hated, their piece of writing. and it’s nice to interact and learn about the inspiration behind a piece of writing, or to offer one’s thoughts – to share etc. it’s a great community here, and even better when there’s interaction and collective appreciation. it takes a lot to bear the soul… if i take time to read a piece it doesn’t take more of my time to let the writer know what i liked about it. it feels good.
